A conlanger is someone who creates or constructs languages or conlangs . Conlang.org is a site by the Language Creation Society (LCS) for conlangers, would-be conlangers, those interested in or curious about conlangs, and anything else to do with conlanging. The primary purpose of the LCS is the promotion and furthering of the art, craft and science of language creation (conlanging) through conferences, books, journals, outreach activities, or other means. Announcements EXTENDED! Call for potential hosts for Language Creation Conference 10 We are still accepting proposals for potential host venues for LCC10. Each LCC is held on a Saturday and Sunday, with a Friday evening pre-conference get-together and a celebratory dinner on Saturday night. Proposals to host LCC10 are now due October 25, 2022. More details can be found in the LCC10 Host Checklist document and on the Language Creation Conference page . Call for conlang images, video, and audio We are still working on creating a slideshow for there on the LCS website homepage of our members’ conlang-related images, video, and audio. We may add a gallery page, too, if there are enough submissions. We have a few submissions so far, but we would love to have more!
